What we stand for
It all begins with a vision. Maybe Leighton and I, Eden, wanted to shake things up in the entertainment world, especially for weddings. Maybe we felt the pull to turn our passion into something deeper, building on years of running a major Perth entertainment outfit—once the biggest by volume and still a heavyweight in influence.
Whatever it is, stepping away from that to launch this new venture feels right, guided by our Te Ao Māori world views, weaving in tikanga to honor relationships, respect for others, and respect for ourselves, aligning more closely with our personal values and morals that we couldn’t fully express before.
Don’t expect a stuffy corporate vibe here. We’re keeping it chill, true to who we are. With over 1.5 billion websites out there, it’s our story—rooted in Māori values like manaakitanga and whanaungatanga—that sets this apart.
If you read this and don’t catch our laid-back yet proud voices, we’ve got more to refine. One memory that sparked this shift was realising how much we missed connecting with couples on a personal level, a value we’re now prioritising.
We’re clear on our path and confident in this shift, not overthinking the journey. This business will evolve with us, starting with a vibe that feels good right now—warm, respectful, and real, defined by our friendly vibe and honest interest in the people we talk with.
The future will sort itself out, as it always does. What’s been wild is the unexpected wave of interest and support from well-known, respected industry peers—planners, photographers, videographers, entertainers, and venues—who’ve rallied behind us, which only fuels our excitement.
